Our Commitment to Safety
At Milo Plastering, safety isn’t just a requirement—it’s the foundation of how we operate. We take a proactive and innovative approach to protecting our team, our clients, and every job site we work on.
Our People, Our Standard
Every member of our workforce is hired directly by Milo Plastering.
We do not use subcontractors. This gives us full control over our manpower, allowing us to maintain consistent safety standards and ensure that every worker is properly trained, supervised, and held accountable to the practices we enforce.
Rigorous Training Requirements
We set a high bar for safety credentials. Every team member is required to hold:
- A minimum of OSHA 30 (or higher) certification, or a valid SST card
- An 8-Hour Scaffolding certification
- Beyond these minimums, we actively encourage our workers to pursue additional safety courses throughout the year, because we believe continued education keeps everyone sharper and safer.
On-Site Oversight
A dedicated Safety Manager is present to support our team and uphold our standards. Their responsibilities include conducting random site inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and performing quarterly reviews to identify and address issues and potential hazards before they become problems.
